Using LEVEL11 as your work tool

Assistants, office documents, memory, scheduled runs, team work and Telegram. How to hand work to the AI and command several of them from one place, even when the work is not code.

LEVEL11 is not only for code. Reports and decks, spreadsheet clean-ups, design mockups, cited research summaries: you hand them to the AI in one place, and when several AIs work at once you command them. This page walks through those features in the order you will meet them.

Assistants: pick a role and start

The Assistants row on the start screen offers AIs with a defined role.

  • Presentation designer: give it a topic; it structures the story, builds the PowerPoint file and shows a preview.
  • Data & Excel analyst: cleans tables, adds formulas and charts in Excel, and explains the result in plain words.
  • Design assistant: moves between Figma, Canva and web pages to produce mockups and code together.
  • Researcher: searches the web and your indexed docs for a cited summary and comparison tables.
  • Planner, Team leader: see "Team work" below.

A tile opens a new conversation in that role with an example first request already in the composer; edit it and send. Assistants can be created or changed in the Agents tool.

Office documents

Start from Make a report deck, Tidy a spreadsheet, add charts or Polish a document. The AI asks only the one or two things it needs and creates real .pptx, .xlsx and .docx files in your project folder. While it works, a document tab opens and refreshes live, keeping your slide, page or sheet position. Opening an office file from the explorer shows the same tab, with an Ask the AI to edit button.

The tool that builds the documents is downloaded by LEVEL11 the first time you use it. Nothing to install, and creating and previewing documents works offline.

Connections: attach services

In the Connections tab, services such as Cloudflare, Supabase, Notion, Linear, Canva and Figma connect with a single Connect: press Allow in the browser, come back, and the AI can use that service's tools. GitHub asks you to type the 8-character code the app shows. Details in Rules and MCP.

Memory: the AI remembers you

A few minutes after a conversation ends, LEVEL11 notes only the facts worth keeping: commit messages are written in English, this project deploys to Vercel, you like one idea per slide. They come back when relevant, so you stop repeating yourself.

The Memory tab shows what is remembered; edit, delete, or undo what was just learned. Memories are plain markdown files under ~/.level11/memory and never leave this computer. Passwords and tokens are never stored. Turn off "learn from conversations automatically" in the Memory tab, or exclude a single project.

Scheduled runs: work on a timer

Under Scheduled runs in the Tasks tab, register a request to run every morning at 9, every 30 minutes, or once. At the set time the AI opens a new conversation (or continues an existing one), runs the request and notifies you when done. A run missed while the computer slept is caught up once after it wakes.

Team work: commanding several AIs

Hand big jobs to the Team leader: turn on Run as a team in the Tasks form, or press the Team leader tile. The leader splits the goal into 2 to 5 independent tasks and starts one member AI per task; in a git repository each member works in its own worktree so they do not step on each other.

The team board shows the leader's plan and each member's state (working, needs approval, done, error), last reply and changed files, and takes you straight to a member waiting for approval. Members and the leader exchange notes through a mailbox. When everything is done the leader gathers the results and tells you what to merge, in order.

Waiting conversations

With several conversations running, "who is waiting for me" is the most important thing to know. When another conversation needs approval or finishes you get a notice with an Open button; the session list marks Needs approval and Working, and the status bar counts waiting conversations.

Telegram: give orders from your phone

Paste your bot's token (from BotFather) under Telegram in Settings and you can give the desktop AI work from Telegram on your phone. A chat that writes to the bot for the first time receives a 6-digit code; only chats you approve in Settings are served. Replies come back in Telegram, and approvals appear as ✅ / ❌ buttons. /new starts a fresh conversation, /stop cancels, /status reports. On iPhone there is also the LEVEL11 iOS app.
