iPhone and iPad
Pair a desktop, connect through Tailscale, review remote tasks and approvals, chat with your account, and troubleshoot notifications.
LEVEL11 for iPhone and iPad is a native app for following desktop sessions, starting tasks and reviewing results. It supports iOS and iPadOS 26 or later. App Store distribution is being prepared; the official installation link will appear after release.
Start without an account
Choose Explore without an account on the welcome screen to look around without a desktop or sign-in. The built-in demo uses fictional data and never executes code or commands.
Connecting to your own desktop also works without a LEVEL11 account. Agents and Git operations run on the connected computer.
Connect a desktop
- Install Tailscale on your computer and iPhone or iPad and connect them to the same tailnet. LEVEL11 itself does not create a VPN.
- Enable Settings → Remote access in desktop LEVEL11. Check that its Tailscale HTTPS certificate is ready and a connection address is shown. The desktop must support host API v1.
- Choose Connect a desktop in the iOS app, then scan the QR code or paste the pairing link. Camera access is requested when you scan.
- Pick a project and open sessions, parallel tasks or approvals. Use Add desktop to connect more computers.
The QR contains a single-use code that expires after five minutes. Generate a new code on the desktop if it expires or has already been used. After pairing, a separate device token stays in Keychain. Revoking a device in desktop settings ends its access immediately. Account & settings → Desktops → Remove pairing on this device also removes the saved connection and cache from this device.
Tasks and approvals
Send follow-ups in a session or stop its current turn. New task lets you choose an engine available on the desktop, mode, worktree and base branch. Selecting several engines starts the same request on each. Worktrees and merges behave as described in Parallel tasks and remote access.
Read the complete request and command before approving. Command execution can only be approved inside the app; device authentication is required by default. The task board shows per-file changes and asks for confirmation before merging or cleaning up. iPhone shows a unified diff; a sufficiently wide iPad shows files side by side. Large changes are folded, with an explanation when a changed region is displayed as a replacement block.
Chat with a LEVEL11 account
Choose Start with your account and sign in using an email code to chat without a desktop. Auto is the default model. Standalone chat uses no tools. Before the first AI request, review the actual processing service and data to be shared and give consent. You can revoke that consent in settings.
Plans and usage are read-only. Press and hold an AI response and choose Report response to review the text before sending a support ticket. Account & settings also provides support requests, sign-out and account deletion. The deletion confirmation explains what is removed and which records must be retained by law.
Notifications
For push notifications, sign in to the same LEVEL11 account on the desktop and iOS app, then enable notifications under Account & settings → Notifications. Allow them in system settings too. Push messages contain no code, commands or file contents. Opening the app retrieves details directly from the paired host.
Without an account, approval requests still appear as in-app banners while the app is open. Sessions, tasks and approvals work without push notifications.
iPad and accessibility
A wide iPad can display the sidebar, list and detail together. Narrow windows collapse columns; use the sidebar button to reopen navigation. The app supports Korean and English, system/light/dark appearance, Dynamic Type, VoiceOver and Reduce Motion. Account & settings → Language opens iOS settings to change the app language.

Connection problems
| State | What to check |
|---|---|
| Network unavailable | Restore the device's internet connection. |
| Desktop unreachable | Check Tailscale on both devices, tailnet access, desktop sleep, LEVEL11 remote access and the HTTPS certificate. |
| Device revoked | Pair again using a new QR code from the desktop. |
| Approval already handled | Another device may have responded. Check the refreshed list. |
| Agent running or operation in progress | Wait for completion or stop the turn before retrying. |
| Older API version | Update desktop LEVEL11 to a release supporting host API v1. |
When disconnected, previously loaded conversations are available read-only. Conversations that have not been loaded cannot be opened offline. On reconnection, events and lists catch up. If the problem persists, use account support tickets or the website's support contact.
